Rue Saint-Paul
The Saint-Paul Street is very attended by the visitors mainly for its many shops of antique dealers. On the bank of the Bassin Louise one finds a public market where the farmers of the region sell their fruit and vegetables as well as many local products and whereabouts "Espace 400e" for the Quebec City Birthday Party in 2008 (from June 3rd to the end of October).

The St-Jean Street is surely the most active street of Vieux-Québec in any time. One finds there shoes, fine lingerie, jewelry, bookshops, record dealers and souvenirs... Cafés, bars and restaurants. In summertime, during the weekend, between Place of Youville and côte du Palais, the street is pedestrian with many terraces.

Rue St-Jean du Faubourg Saint-Jean-Baptiste
Mainly residential to the cliff where many staircases and an elevator is used as a link with the Saint-Roch district, the Faubourg Saint-Jean is crossed from east to west through by the Saint-Jean Street , one of the oldest commercial streets in the country.
Many small and particularly interesting shops are prosperous and highly respected there, delicatessen, bookshops and record dealers, shops of clothing, decorative art, craftsman of leather, violin makers... cafés, bars, concerts--bars and excellent restaurants.

A street which distinguishes itself by its cordial personality within the residential Montcalm district, west of the Faubourg Saint-Jean-Baptist and bordered on the south by the plains of Abraham.
One finds there elegant shops, restaurants and coffees with terraces, delicatessen, florists, bakeries and also the record dealers and the booksellers, the ice-cream kiosks, newspaper and magazine vendors and the candies store.

15 minutes' walk from Vieux-Québec and 5 minutes by the staircases of the cliff from Faubourg St-Jean-Baptise. Saint-Joseph Street is a destination for nice shopping and great restaurants.
