Through this unprecedented collaboration of the Musée du Louvre, which has agreed to a loan of exceptional scope, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec will present masterworks from the Musée du Louvre's eight departments: Egyptian Antiquity, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquity, Oriental Antiquity, Islamic Art, Art objects, Paintings, Sculptures and Graphic Arts. Visitors will have the privilege of admiring this outstanding selection under four main themes: "Loving and Dying", "Learning and Working", "Inhabiting and Embellishing", "Celebrating and Entertaining".

During 40 minutes, much more than an historical panorama, the Moulin à Images will offer a playful 3-D show about the city's past, present, and future. It will be a mosaic of icons, sounds, and ideas organized around four great ages of Quebec City: the age of waterways and exploration; the age of roadways and settlement; the age of railways and development; and the age of airways and communication.
